Abstract:
Main goal of the REEHUB project is to increase energy efficiency of the public buildings within the regions’ area of Albania, Puglia, Montenegro and Molise, thanks to a network of hubs, enabling the training of building managers on energy-efficiency measures. In addition, the project aims to guarantee suitable and effective communication to consumers and awareness-raising at all levels of society. Main output of the project is the creation of Energy Efficiency HUBs in each partner region (Tirana, Brindisi, Podgorica, Agnone) where all the stakeholders involved in energy efficiency actions can find tangible examples on best practices, technical instruments and guidelines for energy audit, and example of how citizens can contribute to a sustainable growth, in accordance with circular economy principles. So, the ambitious intent is to shift from old buildings, responsible of consuming a lot of energy, to new ones with low or nearly zero energy consumption. The project has been carrying on thanks to the efforts of two department: DUEE (SIST –SUD) and SSPT (PROMAS-MATAS).
